Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Full Circle Apps (Pty) Ltd (“Full Circle Apps”, “we”) handles personal information on this website, fullcircleapps.com, in line with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our apps have their own privacy policies: see the Type Drop Privacy Policy.

What we collect

• When you use the contact form: your name, email address, organisation (if you give one), the topic, subject and message, and your approximate country (worked out from your connection, not your exact location).
• When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Spam protection: a one-way scrambled code made from your internet address, so we can limit how many messages one connection sends. It can’t be turned back into your address and is deleted after 2 days.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider processes your internet address and browser details to deliver and protect the website.

This website uses no cookies, no advertising and no tracking. If we measure visits, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Why we use it

We use your details only to read and reply to your message, keep a record of our correspondence, and protect the website and our inbox from abuse. We never sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who helps us

• Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it and forwards our email.
• Resend delivers contact form messages and our replies.
• Google (Gmail) is where our inbox is kept.

These providers may process information outside South Africa (for example in the United States or the European Union). We use providers that are bound by agreements and laws giving your information protection comparable to POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and for our business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@fullcircleapps.com and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Wherever you are

We welcome visitors from around the world, and we give everyone’s information the same care. Wherever you live, you can use the rights above, and if the privacy laws where you are give you further rights, we respect them too. You don’t need to tell us which law applies: just email hello@fullcircleapps.com.

In the European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR apply. In the United States, state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) give rights to know, correct and delete your information; we never sell or share it for advertising. In Asia, laws such as India’s DPDP Act, China’s PIPL, Japan’s APPI, South Korea’s PIPA and Singapore’s PDPA may apply. Wherever you are, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
